General Description of Position:
At the direction of the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Student Communications at the Ivy Tech systems office, this position will lead the internal creative services team and manage the online project management system, development and updates of online forms, management of application programming interfaces (APIs), assisting with the MyIvy mobile app, and related duties.
This position works with multiple communications and marketing team members statewide and is expected to effectively communicate as a liaison with several in-house "clients," external partners, and production partners.
Direct project management of internal Creative Services team.
Manage online project management systems and request forms, assigning projects due dates, tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met. Recommend improvements to request forms and project management systems as needed to provide the optimum customer experience.
Ensure deadlines, timelines, and schedules are adhered to in regards to delivery of creative services items. Reviews and proofs output/materials prior to delivery.
Manage various elements and design projects in partnership with the marketing and communications systems office team, the College's fulfillment operation, and if required, campus contacts.
Direct and approve layout design, copy and content writing, and website.
Collaboratively oversees development and implementation of strategic creative solutions to fit the needs of the client.
Design and/or writing contributions as needed.
Serves as communications team lead and primary liaison with various teams for the MyIvy mobile app.
Focus on project/process improvement with Creative Services.
Oversee asset management and brand licensing platform.
Develop strategy and oversee implementation, along with a team, of day-to-day operations of website content and design.
Work effectively and collaboratively with team, campus representation, systems office leadership and additional College departments.
Responsible for quality and accuracy of messaging and brand.
Collaborate with external design, production, and agency partners on larger scope projects.
Manage the Content Management System (CMS) tools and relations with CMS partners.
Train creative/marketing personnel at systems office and campuses; disseminates pertinent information to staff.
Research best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
Represent marketing on various committees.
Assist with presentations for leadership, campuses, and other departments.
Develop and maintains an effective team structure. Delegates work flow to appropriate team(s).

Bachelor's degree or higher required in relevant field that includes marketing, graphic design or related field.
Minimum of three to five years of related work experience and/or training.
Prior supervisor experience required.
Requires strong organization, communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to work under deadlines and work as a team member.
Work in a higher education setting preferred but not required.
$65,000 - $72,000 annualized
