Overview

We are only as good as our people. In this role, you will serve as a talent partner working alongside the broader HR team to optimize the experience of our employees. You will work with your client group to streamline processes and track projects to ensure progress and implementation. You will provide talent support and HR partnership to your client group and leaders including but not limited to coaching, employee relations, compensation planning, structure and leveling, employee engagement and culture development, employee communications, performance management and people development to cultivate a culture of excellence & inclusion. This role will report into the North America People Lead and sit in our Denver office.

What you'll do?
• Serve as the HR partner to our Denver location lead and employees
• Act as a trusted confidant who understands when and how to share information in the best interest of people and the business.
• Be an advisor to employees and leadership regarding company policies, employee relations issues and performance management,
• Partner with the HRBP Team on compensation planning, organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessment.
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Familiarity with federal and state employment laws, as well as HR Systems and reporting tools.
• Establish collaborative relationships across the People Community and collaborate with other People Team members to guide processes that allow for seamless People programs, employee development, and candidate experience.
• Conduct employee terminations with approval from HR leader
• Analyze, escalate, and monitor progress on Employee Exit Survey results and Employee engagement surveys and communications activities throughout the teams

Requirements:
• 5+ years of HR experience engaging with employees across levels on all types of HR matters , previous HR Generalist experience required
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Agency experience in client service businesses (strongly preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relay messages to all levels of the organization
• A collaborative, consultative approach to HR, ability to build credibility through action
• Must demonstrate influence and client conferring skills with employees, managers and senior leadership
• Demonstrated good HR judgment in dealing with complex employee relations cases
• Must be confident in handling ambiguity and fluid situations and have an abundance of common sense and pragmatism
• Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and statutes which govern policies and practices of hiring, compensation and benefits and general employment
• Remain current on HR practices
• Experience in operating with high levels of integrity and managing highly confidential information
• Thorough and demonstrated knowledge of MS Excel, Word
• Must be willing to come into the office on a hybrid basis

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Ogilvy provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical locations.
