Northrop Grumman Space Systems is searching for an experienced Mgr, Project Management 2 "Common Hardware Program Manufacturing Manager" to join the Launch Vehicles business unit in Chandler, AZ.
The Mgr, Project Management 2 "Common Hardware Program Manufacturing Manager" oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
This position is a key member of the Common Hardware program team. Position is responsible for working with all Launch Vehicle programs to develop prioritized production of common products through internal manufacturing/test and managing successful execution to meet program need. Common Hardware products include Inertial Measurement Units (IMU), various ordnance assemblies, pneumatic assemblies and various RF passive products. Role includes management of production related testing activity such as lot qualifications, ordnance environmental lot acceptance testing and service life extensions and other value add upscreening.
This position requires an Bachelor of Science degree plus 9 years of experience; Masters degree plus 7 years of experience.

Ability to obtain a secret security clearance is required
Salary Range: $102,500.00 - $153,700.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
