Description
The Finance Director will include supervising accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting financial targets, implementing fund-raising strategies, engaging with investors, developing financial strategy, conducting feasibility studies, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual insurance, monitoring cash flow, evaluating investments, and managing tax compliance.
Accountabilities: - Directing financial planning and strategy.
- Analyzing and reporting on financial performance.
- Overseeing audit and tax functions.
- Developing and implementing accounting policies.
- Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.
- Reviewing departmental budgets.
- Assessing, managing, and minimizing risk.
- Analyzing complex financial data.
- Managing internal controls.
- Analyze and interpret financial data and present the information in frequent reports and presentations to board of directors and CEO
- Manage cash from any outside grants or funding
- Stay abreast of current market trends and patterns and act accordingly
- Asses company spending and work to reduce costs
- Manage finance/accounting department, training any new employees as necessary
- Have a clear understanding of and adhere to current laws and regulations

Qualifications
Education/Certificates/Licenses/Registration:Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration required. Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred.
Experience/Qualifications: - Minimum 7-10 years of experience in managing an accounting function in a medium- or large-size company, with 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- 3-5 years experience work experience in the healthcare field.
- Working knowledge and appreciation of non-profits and role within community and society.
- Experience with databases and financial/accounting management software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead groups of employees and work effectively with the Board of Directors in a strategic financial role.
- An interest in mental health and supporting our clients.
