Position Grade

Position Summary

The TitleV Outreach Marketing Coordinator develops and coordinates a wide variety ofmarketing and promotional programs and activities. UNM-Los Alamos is therecipient of Title V grant which is a federally funded grant through theDepartment of Education. Under direct supervision of UNM-LA's MarketingRepresentative and indirect supervision of the Title V Program Manager, theOutreach Marketing Coordinator will write and/or edit marketing and promotionalmaterials that support the Title V grant.

This is a TERM position with a projected employment end date of September 30, 2025, funded by a Title V grant.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in the design and graphics of marketing materials.

Creates and maintains marketing files, records, calendars, logs and other documents at the direction of the Marketing Representative.

Produce and edit content like social media posts, videos, infographics, flyers, press releases, and more.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Illustrator).

Basic understanding of graphic design principles.

Experience editing video and photo projects.

Conditions of Employment
  • Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business and 3 years of experience in Digital Marketing.

Knowledge of UNM-LA or other higher education institutions.

Experience executing paid social media campaigns.

Specific knowledge and experience of communication flow management.

Experience with HTML, Content Management System (CMS) and other web development tools.

Knowledge of Northern New Mexico culture and languages.

Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will comply with UNM's current COVID-19 vaccination requirements prior to hire.
