Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Newport News Direct support is seeking candidates within-depth knowledge of Naval Aviation Operations related to the movement, stowage, assembly, and handling of naval aviation ordnance. This position is a Part Time position.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Must be able to analyze personnel requirements and manpower reductions or increases to meet current and future missions.
  • Will participate in research and development initiatives and FORD and Nimitz Class special studies related to CVN operations and the ordnance requirements.
  • May provide support to the management of FORD Class Government Furnished Equipment and changes. Must have knowledge of NNS CVN programs and the management practices utilized to execute the design, build, and delivery of FORD Class CVNs.

Minimum Qualifications

Prior Military Experience in the Areas of Aviation Ordnance

Knowledge of CVN Programs

Preferred Requirements

Prior Shipyard Experience a plus.
