Sushi By Bou is seeking a Business Development Event Sales Manager to join our growing team. This role will be the driving force behind business development via local outreach, relationship management and event sales.
Salary: $65k + Commission
Schedule: Monday through Friday 10am - 6pm + as needed on the weekends
Job Responsibilities:- Drive business development for our 4 Chicago restaurants by generating sales and maximizing revenue while developing and maintaining long term relationships with clients
- Come up with creative ways to bring in new clients
- Increase awareness and drive additional business to specific venues through outreach
- Actively solicit new business opportunities by effective outreach sales calls and emails to potential clients
- Attending and participating in networking events as well as researching market and industry trends
- Work directly with venue managers and staff to plan and execute successful events
- Monitor sales generated by bookings and continually develop strategies to improve and adjust to those changes to hit quarterly sales quotas
- Handle client and internal inquiries in a timely manner
- Managing records of sales, revenue, and other important data
- Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain Sushi By Bou Company Standards and exhibit gracious hospitality

- Ability to excel working in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum 3 year's experience with planning and executing successful events (preferably in the restaurant industry)
- Must have a passion for food and people
- Must be effective working remotely
