Job Description

Sushi By Bou is seeking a Business Development Event Sales Manager to join our growing team. This role will be the driving force behind business development via local outreach, relationship management and event sales.

Salary: $65k + Commission

Schedule: Monday through Friday 10am - 6pm + as needed on the weekends

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive business development for our 4 Chicago restaurants by generating sales and maximizing revenue while developing and maintaining long term relationships with clients
  • Come up with creative ways to bring in new clients
  • Increase awareness and drive additional business to specific venues through outreach
  • Actively solicit new business opportunities by effective outreach sales calls and emails to potential clients
  • Attending and participating in networking events as well as researching market and industry trends
  • Work directly with venue managers and staff to plan and execute successful events
  • Monitor sales generated by bookings and continually develop strategies to improve and adjust to those changes to hit quarterly sales quotas
  • Handle client and internal inquiries in a timely manner
  • Managing records of sales, revenue, and other important data
  • Making professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain Sushi By Bou Company Standards and exhibit gracious hospitality

  • Ability to excel working in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 3 year's experience with planning and executing successful events (preferably in the restaurant industry)
  • Must have a passion for food and people
  • Must be effective working remotely
